40 Days of study

A human being lives, but he is given life.

Righteousness by Faith

Righteousness by faith is simply looking for Jesus to manifest His Righteous life of victory in our life. God wants us to look to Christ for victory, not to ourselves. This is true righteousness by faith and it is God’s will for every Christian. The most wonderful secret of living a holy life does not lie in imitating Jesus; it is the perfect qualities of Jesus exhibit themselves in my human flesh. Sanctification is “Christ in you…” (Col 1:27). Sanitation means the impartation of the holy qualities of Jesus Christ to me. It is the gift of His patience, love, holiness, faith, purity, and godliness that is exhibited in and through every sanctified soul.

Sanctification is not drawing from Jesus the power to be holy – it is drawing from Jesus the very holiness that was exhibited in Him, and that He now exhibits in me. Do you see the beauty in this truth? Our only part is to look to Jesus with trusting faith and believing that God will manifest His promise and Christ’s righteousness will be in each and every believer that chooses to let this happen.

All my life I have rightousness by faith and sancification. I never understood what either of them meant and couldn’t find any one to really explain it to me. Or at least not in language my simple brain could understand. This passage did just that. How amazingly easy. Truly, it is all easy. Simply ask Jesus to come into our lives, forgive us our sins and manifest the Holy Spirit in us. Soo easy and yet, so very difficult because we are yet sinners. Happy Sabbath to all.

It is Occam’s razor, which states “the simplest explanation is most likely the correct one.” Why do I bring that up? Because, to many times we overlook the easiest explanation, we try to make this topic or others in the Bible complicated. There is one very simple truth that we all need to remember and that is “Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so.” Jesus is there for each and every one person that is willing to ask for Him to come in to their life. It’s that simple.

I like what you said in the blog….”Our only part is to look to Jesus with trusting faith and believing that God will manifest His promise”….this = Faith. Faith is a very important part of our salvation. It’s like the importance of trust to any relationship.

All relationships need to be built on trust. If they are not they will not last very long. Without faith we have nothing.
